Lead Finder: import from a LinkedIn Sales Navigator URL

Lead Finder lets you paste a LinkedIn Sales Navigator search URL and have BrandJet AI return the matching profiles as importable leads, with email enrichment available on the same screen.

    Before you start

    • You need a connected LinkedIn account with an active Sales Navigator subscription.

    • The search URL must be from sales.linkedin.com, not a regular LinkedIn search.

    • Sales Navigator caps results at 2,500 profiles per search. Lead Finder respects that cap.

    Run a Lead Finder search

    1. Open Leads → Lead Finder.

    2. Paste your Sales Navigator search URL.

    3. Pick the connected LinkedIn account that should run the extraction. We use that account session, so it must be healthy.

    4. Choose how many leads to pull (up to 2,500 per run) and whether to enrich emails immediately.

    5. Click Start. Progress shows in real time. You can leave the page — the run continues in the background.

Why did I only get 39 leads from a list of 1,000?

Partial results almost always come from one of three causes:

    1. The LinkedIn session was paused or rate-limited mid-run

If the LinkedIn account hit a daily limit or LinkedIn served a verification challenge, the extraction stops gracefully and reports what it managed to collect. Reconnect the account, wait a few hours, and resume the run.

    2. The search URL is filtered more than expected

Sales Navigator searches sometimes show 1,000 results in the UI but the actual paginated result is much smaller because of de-duplication, hidden profiles, or filters interacting in unexpected ways. Open the search in Sales Navigator and scroll to the last page to verify the real count.

    3. Profile visibility

Some profiles are marked private and cannot be extracted. Lead Finder skips those and reports them in the run summary.

    Failed completely

If a run returns zero leads or errors out immediately:

    • Confirm the LinkedIn account is connected and healthy in Accounts → Social.

    • Confirm the URL is a Sales Navigator URL, not a regular LinkedIn search.

    • Confirm the account has an active Sales Navigator subscription. If the subscription lapsed, the URL still loads in the browser but extraction fails.

    • Check the timestamp against any LinkedIn-side downtime or restrictions.

Enrichment as part of the run

If you ticked Enrich emails immediately, each extracted profile is sent through our email finder. Enrichment uses credits and runs asynchronously — you will see lead rows appear without an email at first, then fill in over the next few minutes.

    Best practices

    • Cap individual runs at 500 to 800 results to stay well within LinkedIn daily session activity budget.

    • Run extractions during the same hours you normally use LinkedIn.

    • Save successful searches as Sales Navigator lists so you can re-run them later for new profiles only.

    When to open a ticket

If Lead Finder failed but everything looks healthy, attach the Sales Navigator URL and the timestamp. We can replay the run with extra logs and see exactly where it stopped.
