This article covers how the seven day free trial works, what is in each plan, how AppSumo tiers map to features, and how to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. If you have a specific billing question that is not answered here, the Settings then Billing screen has every detail for your exact account, including invoices and the renewal date.
The seven day free trial
Every new account gets a seven day free trial that unlocks the full product.
You add a card at the end of onboarding. You are not charged for seven days.
During the trial, every feature is available. Run campaigns, use Artemis, set up brand monitoring, invite teammates. There are no daily caps on top of the normal plan caps.
On day seven, the card is charged for the first month of your chosen plan. You receive a reminder email twenty four hours before the charge.
You can cancel any time during the trial from Settings then Billing. Cancellation stops the charge and ends the trial immediately. Your account is downgraded to a read only state. No data is deleted.
We chose card backed checkout (rather than free with no card) because it filters out throwaway signups and keeps the platform fast for serious users. If you object to entering a card, contact support and we can sometimes set up a no card trial on request, especially for established teams.
What is included in monthly plans
Each plan includes a different mix of these resources. Open Settings then Billing to see the exact numbers for your account.
Email sends per month. The total number of campaign emails you can send across all mailboxes and brands.
Unlimited mailboxes and unlimited warmup. Every plan includes unlimited connected mailboxes and unlimited warmup volume. There is no charge per mailbox.
Social channel sends. LinkedIn invites, messages, InMail, X DMs, Instagram DMs, WhatsApp messages, and Telegram messages each have their own plan limits set by the provider, not by us.
Lead Finder credits. Used to verify email addresses found through Lead Finder. One credit equals one verified email. Higher tiers include more credits per month.
Mentions tracked. The number of new public mentions per month that brand monitoring will surface. Mentions reset monthly.
AI Agents. The number of AI Agents you can run at once (one for each channel you want to auto reply on).
Artemis credits. Monthly allowance for the AI assistant. See Meet Artemis, your AI assistant.
Brands. The number of distinct brands (workspaces) you can run.
Team seats. The number of teammates you can invite.
If you hit a limit mid month, the feature pauses until the next reset or until you upgrade. We do not auto charge overage. You can also attach your own OpenAI or Anthropic key to skip the Artemis credit limit entirely.
AppSumo tiers
If you bought BrandJet AI through AppSumo, you have a lifetime tier rather than a monthly plan. The tiers map roughly to the monthly plans, but with lifetime access for the limits in the tier.
Tier 1. Starter level. Single brand, a few mailboxes worth of sending, basic Mentions and AI Agents allowances. Best for solo founders or a single product.
Tier 2. Pro level. Multiple brands, higher monthly send limits, more Mentions and AI Agents, BYOK Artemis keys unlocked.
Tier 3. Growth level. Four brands, higher send limits, larger lead lists, more AI Agents and Mentions tracking.
Tier 4. Agency level. Six brands, the highest send limits, the largest Lead Finder credit pool, MCP server access for API integration.
Tier 5. Custom. Reserved for very specific use cases. Contact support if your needs do not fit Tier 4.
The exact numerical limits per tier change occasionally as we update the offer. The authoritative source is the AppSumo listing for your purchase date, and Settings then Billing inside your account shows your live limits.
How to upgrade
Open Settings, then click Billing.
Click Change plan.
Pick the plan you want. The page shows the prorated charge that will apply today.
Confirm. The new limits take effect immediately and any blocked features unblock right away.
If you are on an AppSumo lifetime tier and want to upgrade to a higher tier, you have two paths. You can buy the higher tier through AppSumo if it is still on sale (within the AppSumo refund window from the original purchase). Or you can switch to a monthly SaaS plan, which gives you cumulative access to your AppSumo lifetime limits plus the monthly plan limits.
How to downgrade or cancel
Open Settings, then click Billing.
For downgrade, click Change plan and pick the lower plan. The new plan takes effect at the next billing cycle so you keep the higher limits for the rest of the current month.
For cancellation, click Cancel subscription. You keep access until the end of the current month. After that, the account drops to read only. No data is deleted. You can resubscribe at any time and the account picks back up exactly where you left it.
If you are on an AppSumo lifetime, there is nothing to cancel. Your tier is yours. You can choose not to renew an active monthly add on (if you have one), but the underlying lifetime access does not expire.
Trial extensions
We can extend the seven day trial in two situations.
You did not get a chance to evaluate the product because of a real platform issue (something on our side broke during your trial). In that case, we extend the trial by the time you lost plus a few days, no questions asked.
You are still actively evaluating and have a serious team behind it. Email support before your trial ends with a short note about what you are evaluating and we will usually add seven days.
We do not extend trials indefinitely. The seven days are designed to be enough to launch a real campaign and see results.
Agency plan
If you run BrandJet AI on behalf of clients, the Agency plan is the right fit. It includes whitelabel options, six or more brands, a unified team seat structure, and a dedicated point of contact. Contact support for pricing because Agency plans are quoted based on the number of client brands and the volume you need.
Bring your own AI key
If you do not want to use included Artemis credits, attach your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key in Settings then AI Keys. From that point Artemis runs against your key. Where to see your invoices
All invoices live in Settings then Billing then Invoices. Each invoice can be downloaded as a PDF. If you need a custom invoice with your company name or VAT number, edit the billing address from the same screen first. The next invoice will use the new details. To re issue a past invoice with the new billing details, open a support ticket with the invoice number.
